How do we prepare a building before painting?
Most paint failures start before the first coat goes on, so the prep is where the job is won. On every building we do four things first:
- 1Wash the surface.
- 2Patch and match damaged stucco.
- 3Re-caulk the gaps.
- 4Mask off every window, fixture and plant.
It is the slow part of the job, and it is the reason we are willing to put a warranty behind the work. When the painting is done, fixtures go back on, masking comes off and the site gets swept.
